Put the past in the past. Move forward with an expungement.

Imagine it — you can clear background checks and volunteer in your kid’s class. You can buy a house, get a better job, and move forward with a clean slate when you seal an arrest or conviction with expungement. Once expunged, your criminal record is effectively erased like it never happened. Court and police records are removed from the official databases and past arrests or convictions won’t show up on a background check. As my clients tell me, it’s a life changing process. And with over 25 years of experience and a specialization in expungements, I can help you get there.

I handle hundreds of expungements every year, which means I know the law, district attorneys, and the preferences of each different court. Thanks to these good working relationships, I keep the process moving to deliver fast turnarounds and good results.

Efficient and effective: my process.

Within a week of hiring, your documents will be prepared and ready to sign. Once you sign and get your fingerprints, per my instructions, and I file the documents electronically, it can take anywhere from four to six months to complete the entire process. During that time I’ll stay in touch, sending email updates on where your case is in the process. Good communication is one of the hallmarks of my practice, so I’m always available for questions. I want you to feel in-the-loop during the process and empowered once it’s complete. If you’re like most of my expungement clients, you’ll report feeling happier, less burdened, and free to move on with your life. I work hard to get these results on your behalf and love letting you know when the process is complete.

Eligible vs. Not Eligible

Expungements are not one size fits all. That’s why I treat each case individually, talk with you about your goals, and go over the entire circumstances of the case to determine whether you are eligible or not and how to best proceed to accomplish your specific goals.

Expunge your record so you can:

For most expungements, you can file anywhere from one to seven years after your conviction. The waiting period to file depends on the classification. If you think you’re eligible, give me a call. We’ll talk about your case and if you’re eligible, we’ll get the process started.
